I'm only going to post this once...

It's YOUR responsibility to get the notes! Ok, for the LAST TIME:

According to our text, the 9 elements of Film are:

plot
theme
acting
directing
photography
editing
script
costumes/setting/makeup
sound (including sound effects and music)

The 3 values a film can have are:
-Entertainment Value (does the film make you laugh? Cry? Evoke fear in you? Create emotional response?)
-Artistic Value (are all or most of the 9 elements done well in the film?)
-Educational Value (does the film attempt to teach the audience?)

...and finally, the 3 Questions You Must Always Ask When Evaluating Any Work of Art: WHAT IS THE ARTIST TRYING TO DO? HOW WELL HAS HE/SHE DONE IT? WAS IT WORTH DOING IN THE FIRST PLACE?
