Film Noir and Mildred Pierce
Besides reviewing the many editing terms and camera angles
listed in the previous post, some (but not all) of which are defined here, this week we'll also begin watching the classic 'noir' film, Mildred Pierce. Look at these stills from that film, as well as other movies that are classified as being part of the 'film noir' genre; what do they seem to have in common?
