Foreign and Independent Films

Next unit: they may only get one category at the Oscars, but the 'world' of Foreign Film is as vast and varied as that of American film. We will learn the difference between Foreign Films and Hollywood movies (and it's not just a language difference!) as well as the influence of foreign filmmakers on current American Independent Film.
