Welcome Back! Here's an overview of this coming week:
-New Assignment: trailer storyboard assignment!
-Film Quiz #1: THURSDAY 2/26 (note change)
-Sound In Film: we'll be learning about a much
overlooked but critically vital element of film: sound, which includes
dialogue, music and effects. Important terms include:
sound effects editor, original score, foley artist and foley
stage, and looping/ADR
-Introduction to Animation: terms include storyboard,
background artist, animator, character animation, computer animation,
claymation and
rotoscoping.
-if we're lucky and get through all of the above, we'll start our next
film: Snow White!
